At present, the development of new methods for production of functional nanostructured polymer-based coatings is very important and is developing all over the world, since their use allows effectively solving important technical problems in various areas such as environmental protection, energy, electronics, mechanical, instrument engineering and medicine. There are strong interests in plasma-chemical methods of materials processing, application of nanocomposite coatings, which are primarily caused by their high efficiency, the ability to solve complex technical and technological problems with the help of them. In this regard, the technological approach proposed in the work associated with the application of functional coatings of the products of electron-beam polymers dispersion is undoubtedly urgent and promising.
The work presents analyze of experimental materials on studying the most important processes of synthesis, structure and properties of polymer-based nanostructured coatings deposited from active gas phase formed from the products of electron-beam dispersion of initial polymer-based targets. The practical contribution of the work is in developing the formulations and processing methods of producing nanoscale coatings with high functional properties. The range of tasks for which they are intended is very wide: environmental protection, electronics, anti-friction protective layers for rubber seals, sensing coatings, and antibacterial biocompatible layers for implants. The principal scientific direction of investigation and promising scientific and technical developments of Institute of Chemistry of New Materials National Academy of Science of Belarus will also presented.
Rogachev Alexander Alexandrovich is a currently working as a Director of Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In 2001 graduated with honours the Belarusian State University of Transport (BSUT). In May 2006 this Ph.D. thesis was successful awarded. He has a postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Physical Electronics, Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania, 2007-2008), scholarship at University of Wuppertal (Germany 2009, 2012) and at University of Nanjing University of Science and Technology (China 2014-2016). In 2011 took and in 2014 he successfully finished habilitation stage in Belarusian State University (01.04.07 - condensed state physics). His complex research has been conducted into the morphology, structure and functional properties of nanoscale polymer and composite coatings deposited from active gas phase formed via electron-beam disintegration of initial components. Currently he is involved in synthesis, characterization, properties and application of such nanomaterials. He has completed several sponsored project as Head and Executive researcher. He is author of more than 200 publications, including 3 Books and 9 Patents. Prizes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for the best scientific work in 2015. He has awarded by «Presidential Scholarship» presented by President of Republic of Belarus for researcher in 2010 and 2018.
